Output’s Re-imagine stops samples from mistakenly being flagged for copyrightOutput has launched the beta phase for Re-imagine – a new tool within its Co-Producer plugin that lets users generate infinite, royalty-free variations of any sample.
Re-imagine helps rejuvenate your samples so they avoid being flagged by Content ID systems when your music is shared online. Re-imagine is powered by ethically trained AI, rather than scraped content, as well as Output’s collection of musician-made samples.

This nifty tool works with the existing characteristics of any sample to make new, original audio, and they can be auditioned in your project’s key and tempo for a streamlined workflow too.
There are also no credits involved, so all generated samples are included with Co-Producer for $9.99 per month, and they can work in any DAW with a simple drag and drop.
“So often we find a sample we love, but it’s not quite right,” comments Gregg Lehrman, CEO of Output. “Maybe it doesn’t fit the track, maybe it’s been used a thousand times, maybe it gets flagged by YouTube, or maybe it just feels too repetitive when you copy and paste. With Re-imagine, we wanted to keep the soul of real musician-made samples while giving producers the flexibility to make them their own.”

Another brand that has also introduced a new AI-powered feature for one of its production tools is Universal Audio, with the launch of its LUNA v1.9 software update for its free DAW.
Five new key features arrive with the update, including a new voice control tool that lets users start and stop recordings using a simple “Hey Luna” voice command from anywhere in their space, as well as instrument detection, tempo detection, and more.
