McBride & The Ride’s members each have jaw-dropping resumes, boasting experience with country royalty such as Vince Gill and Lyle Lovett. Title track “Marlboros & Avon” is a flavorful chunk of tear-streaked nostalgia, while “Along Comes a Girl” could’ve charted in the 90s. The disc concludes with a boot stomping cover of a Webb Pierce classic.
