What's so good?

LA-local artist Brijean has been featured a number of times already on Indie Shuffle, and for good reason. This duo’s peppy, slightly ethereal sound is simply catchy, and I’m obsessed. On heavy rotation with KCRW last year, their album, Macro, is one of my personal top releases from 2024.One of the obvious hits is “Workin’ On It” which has this insanely cool lackadaisical vibe. This track goes from tinges of jam-band to more modern electronic moments with ease. A successful collaboration between two musicians, Brijean Murphy and Doug Stuart, they were sadly impacted by the Eaton fire in Altadena.
