The track has some beach-sunset guitars, but space-travel drums, a soft-growing narrative performance, and a moment or two of weird flamboyance, and it’s all so fun and wonderful. "She Wants To Go Dancing" is a perfect little encapsulation of VHS and TV melodrama, and the new-age whirl of shoegaze guitars and indie psychedelia."She Wants To Go Dancing" is just a sachet of pop rocket candy, and I love it.
