Stavroz - Valente (Ft. Castello Branco)

Sounds like: Nicolas Jaar, Parra for Cuva

What's so good?

I think this one really needs headphones, so before I launch into my "review" of the song, I'm gonna give you a moment to go grab a pair of cans.Okay, now that you've got them on, I hope you're enjoying the same lush sonic landscape that I am. This one doesn't sound like the usual stuff we feature on Indie Shuffle, but that deep wobbly bassline and textured instrumental pulled me in quite quickly. And then come the vocals (Portuguese, in case you hadn't picked that up). But it's not the language that's necessarily alluring; it's the delivery.Brazilian singer Castello Branco has a raw emotion to his singing that I pulls me in and compliments the exceptional instrumental to a tee. It's a sonic match made in heaven, and every time I listen to it I find myself wanting to hit repeat.
