  • Aphex Twin drops 191-track playlist as part of new collab with streetwear brand SupremeElectronic legend Richard D. James aka Aphex Twin has dropped a 191-track playlist for American streetwear brand Supreme as part of a new collaboration.
The playlist, titled Aphex Twin: [mostly mellow] for Supreme, was unveiled last week and showcases a diverse selection of chilled, low-tempo tracks.

READ MORE: Matty Healy: “If you took a piece of ’90s Aphex Twin back 30 years, they would go, ‘This isn’t even music.’ If you took a piece of music now back 30 years, they’d be struck by how not different it is”

Featuring an eclectic mix of artists, the playlist includes legendary names such as Brian Eno, Herbie Handcock, Tangerine Dream, Marvin Gaye, Ragga Twins, Joe Meek, Kraftwerk, Run-DMC and Klaus Schulze.
Among the curated tracks is Aphex Twin’s very own XMAS_EVET1N, a somewhat obscure 2014 track that later appeared on his 2015 Warp album MARCHROMT30a Edit 2b 96.
“Supreme has worked with Aphex Twin on a new collection for Spring 2025,” the brand announced on Instagram. “The collection features original album artwork as well as music video artwork by Chris Cunningham. The collection consists of a GORE-TEX Hooded Jacket, Alpha Industries Cargo Jacket, Sweater, Shirt, Thermal, Football Jersey, Hooded Sweatshirt, Alpha Industries Cargo Pant, Short, two T-Shirts, 6-Panel, Mechanix Work Gloves, Mantis Coin Knife and four Skateboards – three sold as a set and one sold individually.”

This latest project follows Aphex Twin’s surprise release of Music From The Merch Desk (2016-2023) last December — a compilation album featuring 38 tracks previously sold as one-off vinyl pressings at his live shows.
The album marks the first full digital release of these tracks, many of which became highly sought-after collectibles, with some fetching over £1,000 on platforms such as Discogs.
