Artist Jessica Downs Gifts Purple Rain/Purple Haze to Guitar Center Music FoundationA guitar is not only a beautiful instrument both physically and aurally, but also a canvas for art. Local artists are creating masterpieces on the body of the guitar to raise funds for Guitar Center Music Foundation. The first entitled, “Purple Rain/Purple Haze” was created by artist, Jessica Downs, to pay tribute to Prince and Jimi Hendrix.
