Artist Jessica Downs Gifts Purple Rain/Purple Haze to Guitar Center Music FoundationA guitar is not only a beautiful instrument both physically and aurally, but also a canvas for art. The first entitled, “Purple Rain/Purple Haze” was created by artist, Jessica Downs, to pay tribute to Prince and Jimi Hendrix. The guitar is on display at the Hollywood Guitar Center store located at 7425 Sunset Blvd.

The Guitar Center Music Foundation (GCMF) is a nonprofit organization that advances the healing, transformative power of music by granting instruments to music education and music therapy programs in need across the country.
