Google Flow Music announces its first dedicated mobile appGoogle has shared a series of updates for its AI-powered music studio, Google Flow Music. On top of new creative functions, Google Flow Music will receive its first dedicated mobile app. It’s currently available on iOS with Android coming soon, and will be restricted to users 18-and-up. Google Flow, the AI platform focused on visual content, is receiving its own app as well.
Google said of the apps: “While the web versions remain the go-to platforms for access to all capabilities and features, the mobile apps provide flexibility to create on the go.” It was not made clear which features will be available on mobile as compared to the desktop version.

In terms of the other new features for desktop, Google Flow Music will now allow for greater editing options, covering songs, and making music videos. For editing, the program has the ability to edit individual sections without altering the rest of the song. Select certain lyrics or beats and use prompts to update them within the larger piece of work.
The cover song function is simple and not too far from Suno’s cover song function. Once a song has been made within Google Flow Music, the cover function can convert it into different styles while still maintaining core elements such as lyrics and melodies.
To make music videos for songs in Google Flow Music, users will communicate with the AI model Gemini Omni, which essentially acts as a creative agent. Feed the song into Gemini Omni with instructions for the desired type of video, and it will take your direction to create the final product.
“Millions of creatives across a wide range of disciplines have brought their ideas to life using Google Flow and Google Flow Music in the last year,” Google writes in the press release. “We can’t wait to see what gets created with these new capabilities in creatives’ hands.”

Behringer leaks more than a dozen unreleased synths, drum machines and controllers on websiteA website overhaul at Behringer has accidentally revealed more than a dozen unreleased instruments – including synths, drum machines and controllers – before the pages were swiftly removed.
The leaks appeared briefly during what seems to be an ongoing redesign of Behringer’s website, with eagle-eyed users spotting multiple placeholder product pages for gear that has yet to be officially announced.
Although the pages have since been taken down, they’ve already been immortalised by the synth community, with screenshots surfacing on Reddit and circulating online.

Among the most notable finds was the VCX 3 – Behringer’s long-teased replica of the classic EMS VCS 3. The project has been in development for years, with the company confirming in late 2023 that it had entered beta testing. After a long period of silence, its reappearance suggests it may still be moving forward, alongside the similarly EMS-inspired AKS Mini.
Drum machine fans also had plenty to dig into. Listings suggested a new sampler inspired by the legendary E-mu SP-1200, seemingly featuring 12-bit and 24-bit sampling with analogue filters. If accurate, it would join Behringer’s growing lineup of retro-flavoured rhythm machines, following releases like the LM Drum and BMX.
Another unannounced unit, the RD-765, was also spotted. The leaked description refers to it as a “classic hybrid sampling drum machine with XX drum sounds, sample recording, 64 steps”. Early speculation suggests a hybrid drum machine drawing inspiration from the TR-707, TR-626 and TR-505, but nothing has been confirmed.
Elsewhere, a Korg Mini-Pops 7 clone also appears close to release, after being first teased by Behringer in 2024.
One of the more eye-catching placeholders was the VS-80, widely assumed to be the company’s take on the legendary Yamaha CS-80. If accurate, its appearance would suggest the flagship analogue polysynth is edging closer to reality, alongside the long-gestating 1601 Sequencer, a Eurorack clone of the ARP 1601 first announced back in 2021.
The leak also turned up a cluster of new controller and keyboard listings. Among them is the long-requested BCR32 – a modern successor to the much-loved BCR2000 – alongside an APC40-style grid controller reportedly called the AQ64.
Other entries included a possible replacement for the SWING sequencer, dubbed JAM (plus a version called JAM PLAY featuring onboard sounds), the Polykeys PK61 – a 61-key USB MIDI controller keyboard with polyphonic aftertouch – and the QT32, a 32-key compact keyboard featuring eight drum pads, 12 assignable controls, and a four-axis joystick.
As ever with Behringer, it’s unclear whether the leak was a genuine mistake or simply an unusually messy teaser campaign. Either way, it suggests a packed pipeline of synths and controllers that may be closer to launch than expected.

A DIY 3D Printing Filament DryerIn a recent video [Saša Karanović] revisits the DIY filament dryer that he gave a shot a couple of years ago. Back then he reused an existing filament dryer, adding a custom controller and such to improve its performance. This technically-not-fully-DIY dryer got some feedback since then, and thus the V2 version is an example of how to better DIY such a dryer, including a custom PCB and a GitHub project for all the details.
Those who just want to dive into the documentation for assembly and the BOM can look at the available documentation. At its core the whole assembly consists of some kind of container like the shown 5L food storage type, along with an SHT30 temperature and humidity sensor and 100K NTC temperature sensor. These connect to the controller board which then switches on or off the 12V polymide resistive heater.
One thing that could be improved here is that the saturated warm air has nowhere to go. This is a common issue with filament dryers and why it’s recommended with even commercial filament dryers like the common Sunlu types to leave them slightly ajar so that the moist air can be replaced with cooler air that can much more readily absorb moisture.
