Blox Exciter is a three-mode saturator for adding energy to signals.

Ember, Reel and Glass

Three saturation modes are provided in Blox Exciter, with each offering a different way to distort the signal.

Ember provides a warm overdrive; Reel introduces a nostalgic, magnetic tape distortion; Glass gives a sharp, edgy tone.

Controls

All modes features Air, Drive and Tilt controls.

Air adds high energy that's still related to the input signal through odd harmonics. Drive pushes the signal into the saturation stage. Tilt changes the balance pre-distortion between low and high frequencies.

In Reel mode, two more controls are available: Hysteresis affects softness and the amount of transient blur; and Bias adjusts asymmetry in the simulated reel.

Output and Mix controls are available, and the plugin can be bypassed.
