In honour of the brand’s anniversary celebration, the turntable itself draws from three decades of analogue design innovation.

READ MORE: Sony WH-1000XM6 review: Excellent noise cancelling and sound — but missing one key feature

According to AVID, Relveo marks a “significant evolution” for the company, and introduces a new suspension system, reimagined platter, and advanced external power supply. This new suspension system provides isolation and stability while also simplifying setup.

The Relveo ships with AVID’s multi-award-winning Altus V2 tonearm, which costs £1,650 itself. It features micron-tolerance bearings and AVID’s recently introduced unique dual adjustable bias compensation system, which “extracts every nuance from vinyl collections”. If you’d prefer, the Relveo can also be purchased bare for existing tonearm owners.

It distils three decades of breakthrough technologies into a single, powerful statement piece for the modern music lover.”

In other turntable-adjacent news, independent artists can now get their music pressed onto vinyl thanks to a new partnership between SoundCloud and elasticStage. The new initiative means Artist Pro users can utilise a print-on-demand service, so all the manufacturing, selling, and shipping will be taken care of, and creators simply get paid for every sale.

The Relveo with the Altus V2 tonearm is priced at £6,900/$10,995, but costs £5,500/$8,995 when purchased bare.
