What's so good?

With a feather and a hammer Isobel delivers a soothing gut punch with "Ally."

"Ally" is a track nestled deep in the crevices of our lonely hearts, right between the caverns of frustration and the long rivers of longing and melancholia. It strums its guitar like our veins and smashes its drums like it's breaking our bones. It is at once a quiet reflection and page-turner and suddenly a crash room filled with shrapnel and debris. "Ally" is beautifully chaotic in its quietness and is one of those tracks that uses its build immaculately.

isobel has me by the soul with "Ally."

1.
