In the midst of their upcoming EP, Sex Week drops the Donnie Darko of tracks with "Kid Muscle."Filmic—it's a word I love to throw around in my writing. It’s a feeling I sometimes think is subjective and yet explains so much so quickly. But with Sex Week's "Kid Muscle," the sentiment hits so much harder. This track is a movie; it’s the dark melancholy of Donnie Darko dancing in a room with the romance of The Notebook, and I rewatching it for the 100th time. "Kid Muscle" is a home video of soft alt memories in the back of your cupboard.Blow the dust off the tape and playback your melancholic memories with "Kid Muscle."
