Sounds like:
                Manchester Orchestra, Alvvays, Mt. Joy

What's so good?

Local Natives go all out and give bassy guitars the front stage with "April," and it's a phenomenal bop.OK, I need someone to explain to me what exactly that bassy guitar sound is, because it's astounding. When it kicked in, honestly, my heart stood still. I got teleported into a different world, into a space I didn't understand, but I was so happy to be there."April" is a joyous sound, a fuzzy, flashy, and pulsing ballad to its namesake, and it's one of the best things I've heard this month (which is coincidentally April). I had a smile the whole way through.Thank you, Local Natives.

1.
