Vancouver Sleep Clinic has redesigned an alt-pop staple into something ethereal, dreamy and downright gorgeous.The art of covers is in itself a whole thing ( I've spoken about this many times ), but the ability to take a track, that has a staple sound, a designed experience, and flip it into something completely different is an art and Vancouver Sleep Clinic succeeds at every turn. "Heat Waves" is originally an alt-pop anthem for the new age teen, but with Vancouver Sleep Clinic it becomes something far more intimate.The track get turned down a few gears into a dreamwave kaleidoscope that gave me the comfort of an audio hug with every second.
